The secret life of Ciutat Vella

If mystery and history are your cup of tea, then this is the tour for you. Most guidebooks can give you a general idea of the old town, but we have gone that wee bit further to discover the hidden secrets of this historical quarter.

The tour takes you to some of the most ancient buildings, squares and secret tunnels of this, the heart of Barcelona and reveals the tales and legends behind them.

Together we discover how different cultures (Christian, Jewish and Arab) have given rise to the old town we see today, a Ciutat Vella that is nonetheless strongly influenced by modern-day life. Of course, no insight into this district would be complete without a visit to some of its bars.

MEETING POINT: Plaça del Pi, at the entrance of the Santa Maria del Pi church.

PRICE: €32 per person (this tour is done by a local guide), to be paid at the start of the tour. A minimum of four people is required. Apart from 6 people: 10% discount. A private tour is possible as well.
